Continuous improvement and maintaining up-to-date knowledge is a priority, so all therapists at Leyton Sports Massage regularly attend workshops and complete continuing professional development.
Katherine Creighton Crook
![]() | Katherine is the head therapist and founder of Leyton Sports Massage. Originally from the US, Katherine trained in Sydney, Australia at the NSW School of Massage, obtaining qualifications in Remedial and Swedish massage. After moving to London, she completed a Level 5 Diploma in Sport and Remedial Massage Therapy, the highest qualification in Sport and Remedial Massage in the UK, followed by a qualification specifically for pregnancy massage. In addition to the ISRM and CNHC, she is a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT). |
Katherine takes great interest in gaining a thorough understanding of her clients’ day to day musculoskeletal needs to ensure her treatments coincide with their long and short term goals. Her clients come to her to stay in top form for their sport, to take care of the soft-tissue related discomfort associated with day-to-day life, or to aid recovery following soft tissue damage, either from injuries or operations.
Lisa M Copp
Lisa joined Leyton Sports Massage from a background of competitive kickboxing, having competed for 11 years and winning several titles. Her current client load is an eclectic mix of kickboxers (incluing the current World Champion), professional martial artists, professional and amateur marathon runners, Ironman participants, tennis players and classical musicians. Lisa also spent some time in an office so is all too familiar with desk-bound related aches and pains and has an excellent track record with RSI, stiff neck and shoulders, and sciatica.
Lisa is Level 4 qualified in both Sport & Remedial Massage and Sports Injuries Therapy. She has a dynamic approach to therapy, not only utilising a range of the latest techniques to address muscle tension and imbalances but also providing detailed after-care advice to help achieve the best possible outcome. Lisa is at the clinic on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 13:00-20:00.
